Tiered Pricing

Historically, camper fees charged for Camp Bratton-Green summer camp have not covered all summer camp expenses. To make up the difference, the Diocese, with assistance from the Trustees of the Diocese and individuals, have provided financial support to cover those expenses necessary to operate CBG for the summer, as well as maintaining the facility during other months of the year.

The Diocese has realized that the “true” costs of operating CBG should be shared among our community, and families and others given the opportunity to participate, as they may be able, in offsetting the full cost of year-round operation. To that end, Camp Bratton-Green has instituted a three-tier pricing program for our summer camping program. Those tiers are detailed below.

Understanding that people have different abilities to pay, CBG has created the voluntary three-tier fee program so that families and others may choose the tier that is most suitable for their budget and situation, as well as giving people the opportunity to support CBG and its future. No matter which tier a family chooses, all campers will receive the same camp experience.

Making Your Selection

It has long been the policy of Gray Center that no child, youth or adult who wants to attend CBG as a camper will be denied a camping experience because of the inability to pay the camper fee. All are welcomed and will be given the opportunity to attend camp regardless of the individual financial condition.

You can fill out the application for financial assistance during the registration process on the camper profile form.

All camp sessions require a payment of a registration fee to reserve your camper’s space. We cannot guarantee a space for your camper until the registration fee is paid. Camper fees may be paid in full, now including the registration fee, OR you may pay the registration fee now and remaining camper fee can be paid as you choose by logging back into your account that you created. All registration and camper fees must be paid in full, the week prior to the start of your camper’s session.

The registration fee of $100 is NON-REFUNDABLE.

If your camper becomes unable to attend the camp session, notify us immediately. If cancellation occurs AT LEAST 14 DAYS PRIOR to your camper’s session, we will refund your full payment to date, less the $100 registration fee. If cancellation occurs LESS THAN 14 DAYS PRIOR to your camper’s session, we will make NO REFUNDS. Some specific circumstances such as documented medical issues including COVID and reasons for having to cancel a camper’s session may warrant a refund at the discretion of Gray Center staff.
